Aeropress Brew Guide

In this guide, we are using the Aeropress “inverted method.” Our ratio is 20g(coffee) to 220g(water)

What you’ll need:

  • Blends tend to be better in an Aeropress

  • Goose neck kettle

  • Aeropress

  • Any food scale

  • Coffee grinder (hand grinders are cheaper but harder to use. Burr grinders are more expensive but more accurate and consistent)

  • A timer (usually the scale has a timer)

LETS BEGIN

  1. Place plunger in the top of the chamber, but just barely. Then flip upside down

  2. Rinse vessel and preheat with hot water. Discard the water

  3. Add 20 grams of medium ground coffee

  4. Start a timer and 100 grams of water at 205 degrees

  5. Stir gently 10 times

  6. Screw cap with filter on top

  7. Invert and push coffee all the way through

  8. Add 120 grams of water to dilute the concentrate
